About the OSRS Boss Profit Calculator
Estimate what a boss is worth per kill and per hour. Loot value comes from the OSRS Wiki drop tables at Grand Exchange prices, minus your supplies and deaths.
How to use the OSRS Boss Profit Calculator
- Pick a boss.
- Set your kills per hour and supply cost per kill.
- Set the team size for group bosses, and any death cost and deaths per hour.
- Read loot per kill, net per kill and GP per hour. The drop list shows each item's rate, value and expected value.
How the numbers are worked out
- Loot value per kill = sum of (wiki drop rate × quantity × GE price), after 2% GE tax.
- Prices are the average GE price on the last full day (UTC), or the latest trade if an item did not trade that day.
- Drop tables include commons. Small commons, the rare drop table and seed tables are left out, and the share left out is noted.
- Untradeable drops such as pets and clue scrolls count as 0.
- Team size: Nex and The Nightmare split uniques across the team, and the Corporeal Beast splits the whole drop.
Frequently asked questions
Is the GP per hour guaranteed?
No. It is the average value of the drop table at your kill speed. Uniques are rare, so real results swing a lot over short trips.
Can I leave out uniques?
Yes. Untick Include unique EV to see what the boss makes from regular drops alone.
How do team kills work?
Set the team size. For Nex and The Nightmare uniques are split across the team, and for the Corporeal Beast the whole drop is.
Where do the kills per hour come from?
They start at an estimate, and a note says when the number comes from a wiki guide. Set them to your own pace and setup.
