What You Are Hiring For
Hiring someone for OSRS questing comes down to two jobs. Pick a provider that will play the account properly, then give them a brief that leaves nothing for them to guess.
The brief matters more for quests than for skilling, because quest rewards are permanent. Dragon Slayer I hands out 18,650 Strength XP and 18,650 Defence XP on completion, which ends a 1 Defence pure. Desert Treasure II gives three 100,000 XP lamps for Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Ranged, Magic or Prayer, usable on a skill at level 60 or higher. If you do not say where that XP goes, someone else decides.
How to Choose a Questing Service
Most providers look alike on the front page. These checks separate them, and you can do all of them before paying anything.

An example brief
Mistakes That Stall a Quest Order
- Ordering a grandmaster without its chain. Dragon Slayer II needs 200 quest points just to start, plus Legends' Quest, Dream Mentor and five other quests
- Ordering from the normal list for an ironman. The ironman price covers gathering the quest items on the account
- Buying quests in a random order. List the unlocks you want first, such as Barrows gloves, Prifddinas or a diary tier, and order the quests that lead to them
- Handing over a story you wanted to play. Song of the Elves ends a chain that runs back through Regicide, Underground Pass and both parts of Mourning's End, so decide on it on purpose
- Leaving reward choices out of the brief. A lamp used on the wrong skill cannot be undone
Password and Bank PIN
- Change your password before you send the login details, which go on the ticket after payment, and change it again at the end
- Change your bank PIN if the team asks, and check it when the order is done
Account sharing is against Jagex's rules whatever the provider does, so treat the password change at the end as part of the order.
