Overview: Ba-Ba at a Glance
Ba-Ba is the baboon boss at the end of the Path of Apmeken in Tombs of Amascut. Keep Protect from Melee on (it blocks her melee completely), hit her with a stab weapon, and spend the fight dodging her specials: falling rocks, a thrown boulder you block by standing next to debris or a baboon, a shockwave slam, baboons that open sarcophagi, and rolling boulders at 66% and 33% HP.
Her lowest defence is stab, which is why Osmumten's fang is the standard weapon here. In the boulder phases, ranged attacks on the cracked boulder always hit their max.

Access Requirements
Ba-Ba is only fought inside Tombs of Amascut, which needs the quest Beneath Cursed Sands. There is no separate requirement for the Path of Apmeken.
Beneath Cursed Sands is the only gate. The boss requirements checklist lists every other raid's.
Location and How to Get There
Ba-Ba closes the Path of Apmeken. Before her you fight eight waves of baboons while handling Apmeken's Sight calls: repair roof supports with a hammer, neutralise vents, and group up to cleanse corruption. Volatile baboons explode in a 3x3, and shamans are worth killing first.
Ba-Ba was a baboon matriarch who took Amascut's offer of immortality and was used to overpower Apmeken.

Bring a ranged option even if you melee her. It handles baboons at range and turns the cracked boulders into guaranteed max hits.
Inventory and Supplies
- Your stab weapon plus a crossbow or bow switch.
- Saradomin brews and super restores; Ba-Ba's max hit is 24 before raid level scaling.
- A super combat potion. If Ba-Ba is your first path, the wiki suggests a divine super combat and an overheal before entering.
- No cannon: Ba-Ba is immune, and thralls do work here.

Solo, each boulder has 25 HP, rising to 27 at path level 2 or 3 and 31 at path level 4+. She stops rolling them after ten sets, or early if you get past the boulders and hit her with melee.
Where Ba-Ba Sits in the Raid
The learning order the wiki suggests is Zebak, Kephri, Akkha, then Ba-Ba, so most players learn her last. Speed-focused teams flip it and take Ba-Ba first, since she and Kephri are melee fights and smelling salts are better saved for the ranged and magic bosses. Drops and What Ba-Ba Is Worth
Ba-Ba always drops Apmeken's capture, and the top damage dealer gets a big banana, which you give to Awowogei as part of the ancient key steps after the Into the Tombs miniquest. Damage on Ba-Ba earns 2 raid points per hit point, the best rate of any path boss.
Combat Achievements and Perfect Ba-Ba
Perfect Ba-Ba is a Master tier task for a group of two or more at raid level 150+, with every Ba-Ba invocation on. Nobody may take damage from her attacks off-prayer, her slam, rolling boulders, the rubble attack or falling rocks, and no sarcophagus may be opened. You can retry it by wiping, and banana peels do not fail it.

Ironman Notes
Group ironmen have one catch here: entering ToA with anyone outside the group costs the group its prestige. Ba-Ba leans on a stab weapon, so the first Osmumten's fang from the raid speeds this path up a lot.
Common Mistakes and Death Causes
- Standing in the open when Rock Throw lands instead of next to debris or a baboon.
- Letting a baboon break a sarcophagus open, which then fires energy across the arena.
- Meleeing boulders instead of ranging the cracked one.
- Standing in the middle columns before a threshold with Mind the Gap! on.
- Staying under her long enough to trigger the stomp.
